Oneida Rayburn Cook, 86, a long time resident of Florence passed away Tuesday, August 16, 2011 at University Medical Center in Jackson. Visitation will be Friday, August 19 from 5-8 pm and Saturday, August 20th from 10 am until the 11 am service at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence. Burial will follow at Mountain Creek Cemetery.\ \ Mrs. Oneida was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Cook; son, Neil Cook; daughter, Faye Quarles; and granddaughter, Sandy Quarles.\ She is survived by her daughters, Voncile Odom (James) of Florence and Beverly Jackson (jimmy) of Florence; 7 grandchildren, Lynn Quarles Campbell, Chuck Quarles, Laurinda Lovern, Missy Cook, Neil Ann Hillhouse, Dawn Cook and Seawana Martin; 12 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.\
