Mrs. Opal Dolores Stevens, 70, died at Ms Baptist Medical Center, January 24, 2008. Visitation is 5-8 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. services on Saturday, January 25, at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence. Interment is in WesleyAnna Cemetery in Star.\ \ Mrs. Stevens was a long-time resident of Florence and worked for Bridges Quickie as a cashier for 20 years. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend; a person everyone loved upon meeting her.\ \ She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Wesley Stevens, parents, Tommy and Pearlie Murphy and two sisters: Edna Pearl and Audra Barber. She will be greatly missed by those left behind; daughter, Dawn Sutton and husband, James of Pearl; granddaughter, Madison Sutton; brothers: James Buster Murphy of Wilmonte, AR, and Albart Murphy of Clinton: sisters: Gladice Owens of Lake Providence, LA, and Clareann Hastines of AL.\
