Opal Louise Bokros

Mrs. Opal Louise Bokros, 68, joined her Lord in Heaven on July 6, 2011. Louise passed away at home after a two and a half year fight with cancer.\ \ Visitation will be at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence from 5-8pm Friday, July 8 and fom 9am until the 10 service on Saturday, July 9th at Star Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Star Baptist Cemetery in Star, MS.\ \ A native of Lepanto, Arkansas, Louise was born November 29, 1942. She was the daughter of Oscar C. Doss and Opal E. Doss. She worked at Packard Electric/ General Motors/Delphi in Clinton, MS and retired after 30 years of employment. She was a member of Star Baptist Church. \ \ Mrs. Bokros was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband, George F. Bokros of Florence; two daughters, Karen F. Herman of Florence and Shelia C. Holder of Madison; step-children, Danny Bokros, Gary Bokros, Randal Bokros and Sandra Richardson; two brothers, Eugene Doss and Terry Doss of Cumberland, MS; thirteen grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, three nephews one niece, two aunts and many cousins.\ \ In Lieu of Flowers, please send donations in her honor to the American Cancer Society.\
