Pat Bryant Ford, 87, passed away Friday, May 9, 2008 at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland. Visitation will be 5-8pm Sunday at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram. Services will be 11:00am Monday in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in Lakewood Memorial Park\ \ Mr. Ford was a former employee of Parts Inc. having worked there for over 20 years, Mills Morris Automotive for 18 years and Montgomery Hardware. He was a charter member and deacon of West Jackson Baptist Church and was a recipient of the Purple Heart during WWII and the Korean Conflict. Mr. Ford loved to hunt, fish and garden.\ He loved spending time with family and homemade vanilla ice cream.\ \ He is preceded in death by his wife Marie Bynum Ford in 2003; daughter Peggy Ford in 2007;his parents Henry and Bessie Ford; brothers, William, Frank, Luther, Bilbo and Chuck Ford and sisters Annie Breland and Vera Ross.\ \ Survivors include son, Glynn (Diane) Ford of Star; Son-in-law, Bobby Thigpen of Florence; daughters, Patsy Cox of Jackson, Karren (Richard) Turner of Jackson; sister, Cela Cessna of Utica; grandchildren, Marsha Mack (Greg), Kathy Kuhlman (Chris), Will Cox (Danielle), Angie Blaylock (Lee), John Cox (Lauren), Susanne Cox (Michael) and Tyler Ford; great grandchildren, Hennesey, Destiny and Taylor Cox, Anna Turner, Destiny Blaylock, Karyn Blaylock, Leah McCarter and one on the way and numerous nieces and nephews\
