Patricia Ann Adams

Mrs. Patricia Ann Adams, 73, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 25, 2013 at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson. Visitation will be Monday from 5-8pm at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram and Tuesday from 1 until the 2:00 Funeral Service in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at Lakewood South Memorial Park. A lifelong resident of Jackson, Mrs. Adams graduated from Forest Hill High School, Hinds Junior College and University of Southern Miss. She was proud to have served as a Hinds High Stepper while in college. She taught with the Pearl Public Schools for over 30 years and after leaving there continued teaching at Rebel Academy for 12 years. Mrs. Adams was a member of Raymond Road Baptist Church and a member of the Eastern Star. She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Larry Adams, of Jackson; son Judson and wife Lisa Wallace, of Mendenhall; daughter, Charla Diamond Bobbitt and husband Dex, of Chattanooga, TN; stepsons, Danny and wife Sheila Adams and Randy Adams and fiancé Kathy Young of Pearl; brother, David Moore, of Jackson; 8 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter
