Mrs. Patricia "Pat" Yeates

Patricia “Pat” Ann Mayfield Yeates, 68, passed away Monday, June 15, 2015 at her home in Terry. Visitation will be 6-8pm Wednesday, June 17, 2015 and 9am until the 10am funeral service Thursday, June 18, 2015, all at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram. Interment will follow at Terry Cemetery. Pat was a resident of Terry for the last 34 years and a parishioner of St. John’s Catholic Church in Crystal Springs. She dearly loved being with family and grandchildren, especially family get- togethers around the pool. Pat was a fantastic cook, loved country music, antiques, crocheting and was a professional shopper who loved to decorate. When she was able, she loved to go to the gym. She had worked for the Hinds County Tax Assessors Office as an appraiser She is preceded in death by her parents James & Marcein Getzan Mayfield and brother Perry Mayfield. Survivors include her husband of over 50 years Eddie Yeates, Sr. of Terry; son Rowdy Yeates (Holly) of Florence; daughter Tracey Graves (Danny) of Florence; sister Sandy Searcy of Baton Rouge, LA; grandchildren Jacob, Jessica, Mark, Josh and Zach; eight great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
