Patricia Diane Bono

On July 12, 2024, our beloved Patricia Diane Ratcliff, affectionately known as Tricia, passed away at her residence in Richland. She was born on April 21, 1961, in McComb, MS to her late parents, Jackie May and Wilma Carrol. Patricia was a devoted Christian who touched the lives of many during her time on this earth.

Patricia was a woman of immense love and kindness. Her love knew no bounds, whether it was showered upon her family, her cherished Great Dane "Ruger," or the great outdoors she adored. Patricia spent the past 25 years in Richland, where she found peace and joy surrounded by those she held dear.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Jackie May and Wilma Carrol, stepfather William Carrol and sister Donna Duncan. She is survived by her loving husband, Steve Bono of Richland. Patricia's memory will also be cherished by her brothers: Jack May and wife Susan, Willie May and wife Patricia both of Smithdale, David May and wife Deborah of Louisiana; her children: Mindy Johnson and husband Chad, Jackie Howard and wife Ashley, James Howard and wife Amy all of Clinton, Illinois; Amy Wilson and husband Marvin; Kristi Pena and husband Chris; Steven Bono all of Richland. Additionally, she leaves behind 17 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren who brought immense joy to her life and many nieces and nephews.

In Patricia's journey through life, she found solace in shopping sprees, peaceful fishing trips, and joyful moments spent with loved ones at the Bogue Chitto River. Her spirit will forever live on in the hearts of all those who had the privilege of knowing her.

Patricia Ratcliff's laughter and unwavering love will be dearly missed by all who had the honor of crossing paths with such a remarkable soul. May she rest in eternal peace knowing that her legacy of love will continue to flourish in the memories of those who were fortunate enough to have shared in her light.
