Patsy Burgess, beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend, passed away on August 8, 2023, in Jackson, Mississippi. Born on April 6, 1941, in Scott County, Mississippi, to George Westerfield and Lena Pearl Williams.

Patsy was preceded in death by her husbands, respectfully, Buddy Fitzhugh, Pete Butler, and Jerome Burgess; a daughter, Marie Bland, and 2 grandsons, Nathan Owens and Zach Powell.

She leaves behind two loving daughters, Becky Williamson (Mike) of Terry and Lori Cauthen (Richey) of Florence, as well as a son, Danny Fitzhugh (Diann) of Terry. She leaves behind, her beloved mother, Lena Pearl Westerfield of Vicksburg; 2 brothers Ray Westerfield of Raymond and Billy Westerfield of Vicksburg, as well as her sisters Donna Powell of Benton, Bonnie Poole of Raymond, and Bobbie Sanford of Covington, LA; and a son in law, Ron Bland of Jackson.  Patsy's legacy lives on through her eight grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren who brought immense happiness to her life.
