Dr. Paul Norman Gospodarski

Dr. Paul Norman Gospodarski, 73 passed away Thursday, June 5, 2014 at his home in Jackson. Visitation will be Sunday, June 8 at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram, MS from 5-7:00pm. Visitation will be Monday, June 9 at St. Therese Catholic Church from 10-11:00am with a Funeral Mass at 11:00am. Dr. Gospodarski was born in Buffalo, NY and served in the U.S. Army. He received his Doctor of Education degree in 1981 from Auburn University and worked as a Nursing Educator at several universities including USM and UMC. In 2007 he retired as Executive Director of the Brain Injury Association of Mississippi. He was a very active member of the Knights of Columbus, serving as State Master from 2004-2008 and as chairman of the Jackson Diocese Priest Education Fund. He was preceded in death by six brothers and one sister. Survivors include his wife of 40 years Catherine (Cathy) Gospodarski of Jackson; four sisters and several nieces and nephews.
