Mr. Paul Stanley Grubbs

Paul Grubbs, 58 passed away on Saturday, August 15 at his home in Star, MS after a battle with cancer. Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 16th at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence, MS from 5:00 til 8:00pm. Funeral services will be the following day at 10:00am with visitation one hour prior at the funeral home and interment will follow at Stonewall Baptist Church cemetery in Shivers, MS. He is preceded in death by his father, Troy Grubbs, survived by his mother Billie Jo Grubbs of Star, MS, his children, Allison Magee of Pearl, MS and Alex Grubbs of Brooklyn, NY, their spouses Robert Magee and Bonnie Grubbs, his siblings Richard and Mark Grubbs and Dinah Jenkins, their spouses Iris Grubbs and Vicky Grubbs and Tom Jenkins, and two grandchildren, Avery and Mallory Magee. Paul was born in Mendenhall, MS, a graduate of Florence High School '75 and alumni of Copiah- Lincoln Community College, Belhaven College and USM. He worked for many years with Farm Bureau Insurance, recently served as president of the Mississippi Gourd Society and was a member of Stonewall Baptist Church. Paul was known for his humor and kindness and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
