Mr. Paul H. Stark

Paul Harvey Stark, 62, passed away Friday, January 31, 2014 at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson. Visitation will be Monday, February 3, 2014 from 10am until the 11am memorial service at Pinelake Church in Brandon. Chancellor Funeral Home of Byram handling arrangements. Paul was born in Indianola, MS to the late Harvey David Stark, Sr. and Victoria Virginia Strohm Stark. He lived most of his life in South Jackson and the last eight years in Flowood. Paul was in Law Enforcement most of his life from Patrol through Investigator, and the last 13 years with the Hinds County Sheriff’s Department. He was actively involved with baseball, raising his four boys to play and involved with fundraisers for sports with Northwest Rankin High School. He was a member of Pinelake Church in Brandon. First and foremost he loved his family, friends and his three loyal, canine companions. He love to watch baseball, joke, laugh, barbeque, and he never met a stranger. He will be missed by everyone whose life he touched. Survivors include his wife of 25 years Michele Stark of Flowood; sons Hunter (Charlotte) Stark of Gulf Breeze, FL, Colby (Courtney) Stark of Brandon, Taylor Stark and Jordan Stark both of Flowood; daughter Brooke Stark (fiancé Blake Everett) of Brandon; brother David (Terri) Stark of Byram; sister Ginger (Bo) Wooley of Jackson; grandchildren Addison, Marley and Harvey Stark.
