Mrs. Pauline James

Mavis Pauline James, 65, passed away on Thursday, May 9, 2013. Visitation will be Sunday, May 12th from 4-8 PM at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence and Monday, May 13th from 12 PM until the 1 PM funeral service at First Baptist Church in Richland. Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories. Pauline grew up in Pearl, but has lived in Richland for the last 30 years. Together, Pauline and her husband of almost 49 years, Bobby, operated Bobby James Carpet Service for more than 35 years. Pauline was long time member of First Baptist Church of Richland where she taught a ladies’ Sunday School class for many years. Pauline was preceded in death by her parents, J.W. and Nell Bounds of Pearl. She is survived by her husband, Bobby James; sons, Bob James (Stacey) of Richland, Russel James (Julie) of Florence, and Philip James (Rebecca) of D’Lo; daughter, Jennifer Pannell (Ronnie) of Richland; grandchildren, Brady James, Lora Beth Pannell, Corbin James, James Pannell, Gavin James, Caleb James, Daniel Pannell, Andrew James, Josilyn James, Noah James, Abigail James, Asher James, and Isaac James; brother, Nelson Bounds (VonDale) of Florence; and sisters, Virginia Porch of Utica and Shirley Burnham (John) of Puckett. Memorials may be made to the Baptist Children’s Villiage.
