Pearl Annette Wingo

Pearl Annette Guinn Wingo went to her Heavenly home on Tuesday, September 12, 2023, in Flowood, MS.  She was 73 years old.  The family will receive friends for visitation from 10:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 15, 2023, at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence, MS. The funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. A graveside service will take place at Dempsey Cemetery in Five Points, AL at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 16, 2023. Rev. Mike Flynn will be officiating the services. . Serving as Pallbearers are Roger Jones, Kerry McAfee, Joe Pearson, Chad Washington, Hayden Wingo and Joey Wingo.

Mrs. Annette was born on April 3, 1950, to Arthur Nim and Pearl Letha Coats Guinn in Red Bay, AL. She was raised in Alabama in the Five Points community, where she was an active member of James Chapel Missionary Baptist Church for many years. She loved her family, especially her grandson, Harrison. She enjoyed cooking meals for her family. Mrs. Annette retired after 25 years as a secretary for Northwest Shoals Community College in Phil Campbell, AL. She has been in the Florence, MS community since 2005, and most recently attended Mountain Creek Baptist Church. She will truly be missed.

Mrs. Annette is preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Jackie Wingo of Florence; son, Daryl Wingo (Myra) of Brandon and grandson, Harrison Wingo of Brandon.
