Peggy Ann Brewer, 61, died on Monday, November 30, 2009 at Hospice Ministries. \ \ Peggy was known for her beautiful smile and her life of faith and great courage to fight multiple sclerosis. Everyone that met her just loved her. She enjoyed horse racing, baseball and football. She worked for South Central Bell Telephone for 10 years and had lived at Brandon Rehabilitation Nursing Home for 3 years. She was a member of St. Jude's Catholic Church.\ \ She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Mary Sankovich and cousin, Don Martell. Prior to her mother's illness and death her mother cared for Peggy who was the light of her mother's eyes.\ \ She is survived by her brother, Matthew D. Sankovich of Berryville, AR; special aunts and uncles: Geri and Don Martell of Florence, Nancy and the late George Merisko of Ormond Beach, FL, and Sophia and the late Bob Sankovich of Central City, PA; a God-child, Debi Martell and a very special friend for 25 years, George Schild of Philadelphia, PA.\ \ A special thank you to the staff of Hospice Ministries, Inc. "You are all angels in training".\ \ A Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, July 6, 2010 at St. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church in Graham Avenue, windber, PA.
