Mrs. Peggy Sue Carlisle

Peggy Sue Carlisle, 59, passed into the arms of Jesus on Sunday, January 24, 2021 at her home in Florence. Chancellor Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangement. Peggy was born April 18, 1961 to the late Fermon and Carolyn Smith Walters, Jr. in Mendenhall, MS. She loved God and was a member of New Covenant Church. She enjoyed cooking, reading and playing games on her phone. Peggy loved her family dearly, especially her grandchildren. Along with her parents, Peggy is also preceded in death by her grandparents; brother-in-law, Aubrey Nunnery, Jr.; and a host of aunts and uncles. She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Olen Carlisle of Harrisville; sons, John (Denise) Carlisle of Richland and Dustin (Heather) Carlisle of Forest; grandchildren, Lexy (Trey) Mooney, Jade Carlisle, Toby Taylor, Cloe Elkins, Jazz Carlisle, Kael Carlisle, Christina Elkins, Brooklyn Self and Levi Benton; great grandchild, Talon Mooney; sisters, Kathy Ann Nunnery and Sandra Lee Gilmore; and a host of nieces and nephews.
