Mrs. Peggy Chapman

Peggy Ann Patridge Chapman, 71, passed away Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at her home in Terry. Visitation will be 9am until the 10am funeral service Saturday, December 23, 2017 at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Winona, MS at 2:30pm. Mrs. Chapman lived in Terry, MS for the last 36 years having come from Delhi, LA. Early in her marriage, she followed rodeo events in which her husband Buddy participated. She enjoyed caring for horses, always had a dog and never met a stranger. She fit in with any crowd and was always eager to help others. Mrs. Chapman enjoyed working, shopping, was a member of First Baptist Church of Terry and was Personel Supervisor for Hinds County. She is preceded in death by her parents Earl Wayne Patridge and Lila Marter Patridge; sister, Shirley Fowler. Survivors include her husband, James E. “Buddy” Chapman; brother, Billy Wayne Patridge (Dianne) of Brandon. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Blair E. Batson Children’s Hospital.
