Mrs. Peggy E. Divine

Peggy E. Divine died Friday, May 17, 2013 at the MS Baptist Medical Center. Visitation is 5-8 p.m. Monday and 9-10 a.m. Tuesday at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram. Services are scheduled for 10 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with burial to follow in Lakewood Memorial Park. Mrs. Divine was born April 1, 1930 to John Daniel Eades and Pearl Clara Barton Eades in Vaiden, MS. She worked and retired from Sears. Her family was her life. She was the best mother. Her grandchildren referred to her as “the best meme ever.” She will always be loved, missed and remembered by her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of thirty years, Lloyd Stephens Divine; son, Daniel Divine; and son-in-law, Steve Trigleth. She is survived her children, Carolyn Trigleth of Clinton, Stanley Stevens Divine of Albany, OR, Sandra Milner (Paul L.) of Raymond, Pamela Gayle Hexton (Roger) of Cobham Surrey, UK, and Wayne Divine (Ann) of Jackson; brother, Johnny Eades of Brandon; eleven grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
