Peggy Finch

Mrs. Peggy Thompson Finch passed away Tuesday, October 23 at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland. Visitation is today, October 25, from 4-7 p.m. at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram. Services are 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 26, in the funeral home chapel with interment at Lakewood Memorial Park.\ \ Mrs. Finch was a member of Country Woods Baptist Church. She worked with her first husband, Leon Thompson, who preceded her in death, at Thompson Floor Covering. She volunteered at Baptist Hospital for 25 years and was an avid gardener who enjoyed cooking. Later in her life she loved caring for her grandchildren and great grandchildren the most.\ \ She is preceded in death by her sisters, Laverne Brown and Helen McFarland. Mrs. Finch is survived by her husband, Fonzo Finch, Sr. of Jackson, son Fonzo (Bunny) Finch, Jr. of Jackson, daughter, Martha (Tommy) Stogner of Terry, nephew, Ed (Yvonne) Benton of Star and niece Tammy (Gary) Dearing of Ohio, six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.\ \ Online guest book may be signed at www.chancellorfuneralhome.com.\ \
