Margaret H. "Peggy" Tingle passed away on September 2, 2012. Graveside services are scheduled for Friday, September 7, 2012 at 1pm at Fort Benning, GA.\

Peggy lived life to the fullest, was a songstress, and worked for Jack's Pawn Shop in Columbus, GA. She was affiliated with Caribe Diamonds in Okinawa, Japan in the 1960's. In the 1970's, following her husband's tour of duty in Livorno, Italy, she worked as Manager for Matthews Women's Apparel in Columbus, GA.\

Peggy was predeceased by husbands, Joe Frank Fontaine (Columbus Police Department_) and SSGT Kenneth L. Tingle (US Army Airborne and US Civilian Service) who adopted her only child and who valiantly served the United States through World War II, the Korean War, and the Vietnam conflict. \

She is survived by her only child, Deb Biggers and her husband, Scott Biggers and their granddaughter, Victoria Biggers of Florence, MS; her beloved sister and brother-in-law, Kitty and Ed Coffield of Birmingham, AL; and...
