Penney Elizabeth “Rayne” Morgan, 24, passed into the arms of Jesus on Sunday, May 10, 2020 at her home in Brandon. There will be a visitation at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence on Tuesday, May 12th from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. where the funeral home’s COVID-19 Guidelines will be enforced and a maximum of 10 people will be allowed in the funeral home at a time. A private family graveside will be held on Wednesday, May 13th in the Garden of Memories at 10 a.m. Rayne was born January 31, 1996 in Jackson, MS. She has lived in Brandon her whole life. She was very creative and loved doing her makeup. She enjoyed spending time with her family and her friends. She loved all genres of music, taking care of people, and she loved her dog, “Sadie”. Rayne walked her own path, made her own decisions, and enjoyed her life. She battled heart disease her entire life, but never let it keep her down. Her mom describes her as the greatest warrior she ever met. She was excited about running after her next transplant. Rayne is preceded in death by her grandfathers, Dudley Morgan and Gerald Morrow. She is survived by her mother, Sonja Morgan of Brandon; father, Jimmy (Janine) Morgan of Brandon; grandmothers, Carolyn Morrow and Nancy Morgan; sister, Hunter Morgan (Angel Castillo) brothers, Anthony (Kim) May, Jeremy (Chelsea) May, and J.P. Morgan; stepbrothers, Ryan Bell and Hunter Bell; nephews, Keith May, Charlie May and Aiden May; niece, Holley May; “little buddy”, Aaron Morrow; and her favorite aunt, Constance Morrow.
