Mrs. Penny Lynn Buckley

Penny Lynn Buckley of Harrisville, Mississippi, was born on March 18, 1972, in Hazlehurst, Mississippi, to William Bruce Buckley and Angela Buckley and passed away on October 29, 2021, at Merit Health Central Hospital in Jackson, Mississippi, at the age of 49. Visitation will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday, November 1st, at Unity Baptist Church in Georgetown, Mississippi, and the funeral service will follow at 12:00 noon. Internment will be at the Unity Baptist Church Cemetery. Penny was a survivor, a wonderful mother, and a friend to all. Her hobbies were spending precious time with her children and talking on the phone. She never met a stranger and always had something good and encouraging to say. Penny was a licensed cosmetologist for many years. Penny is survived by and leaves to cherish her memories: her daughter, Mashasta Angelina Buckley (fiancé Alex), and son, William Brent Buckley; brother, Timothy Ray Wilson, her best friend, Kaye, and her caretaker, Ms. Kenny, along with her aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, William Bruce Buckley and Angela Buckley; brother, James Christopher Buckley; grandparents, James Grady Buckley and Mary Buckley and Bobbie Jean Buckley and Luther Ray Buckley.
