Phillip Sandifer

Phillip Sandifer passed away on Saturday, December 9, 2023, in Flowood, MS. He was 59 years old. The family will hold a memorial service from 2:00-4:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 16, 2023, at The Rankin County Safe Room in Brandon, MS.

Phillip was born on September 25, 1964, to Julian and Linda Sandifer in Fresno, CA. He grew up in Harrisville, MS. Phillip retired from the U.S. Army after serving 20 years. He served in the Iraq War and Desert Storm/Shield. Phillip loved to fish and was an avid gardener. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, and his green John Deere tractor. He also loved animals, especially dogs.

Phillip is preceded in death by his parents; stepmother, Margaret Sandifer; and sister Debbie Sandifer Angelini. He is survived by his children, Amanda N. Sandifer, Phillip Lee Sandifer, Jr., and Wilburn D. Sandifer (Samantha Pacos); siblings, Bonnie Ward (Mike), Cindy Etheridge (Sam), Julie Sandifer (Tina), Julian “Bo” Sandifer (Kim), Gaylynn Goff (Donnie); grandchildren, Chase Schwab, Xander Schwab, Greyson Sandifer, and Nolan Sandifer.
