Pleaz Tucker

Pleaz (Buddy) Tucker, 84, passed away at Baptist Medical Center on Saturday, March 24, 2012. Visitation will be Monday, March 26 from 5-8 pm at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence and Tuesday, March 27 from 10 am until the 11 am service at Clear Branch Baptist Church in Florence. Burial will follow at Clear Branch Cemetery. \ \ A life-long resident of Rankin County, Mr. Tucker was a member of Clear Branch Baptist Church and a US Army veteran of WWII. He retired from Lindsay Wire in 1989 and from the Rankin County Sheriff's Department in 2008 and later enjoyed fishing and his grandchildren.\ \ He was preceded in death by his son, John David Tucker;Great Granddaughter McKenzie Tucker; parents, Andrew and Lucille Tucker; brothers, A.J, A.C, Van, and Billy Tucker; and sister, Vivian Campbell. \ \ Mr. Tucker is survived by his wife of 61 years, Louise Tucker of Florence; his sons, Cleve Tucker of Florence, Martin Tucker of Brandon, and B.J. Tucker of Florence ; his daughter, Betty Brinson of Florence; and by 9 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. \
