Prentiss Lee Adcock, 75, of Richland, MS went home to be with the Lord on Monday, May 23, 2016. Prentiss was born o October 3, 1940 to the late Lonnie and Hilda Adcock. Prentiss was a husband, father, brother, grandfather, uncle and friend to so many people. He loved hunting, fishing, taking pictures of wildlife, gardening, as well as his car dealer family, but most importantly spending time with family. He cherished trips to the mountains with George and Dorothy Mitchell, Billy Ray and the late Joan Welch and his hunting trips with Stanley Cook. During his career, he worked for Ace Industries, MP & I, Green Insurance Agency, MS Rubber, George Carr and Champion Used Cars. He is preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Melony Carol; and granddaughter, Abby Grace. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Betty Adcock; sons, Johnny (Sandra), Scott (Stacy), and Pete (Molly); daughter, Renee (Walter) Williams; grandchildren, Trey, Aaron, Bradley, Kayla, Amber, Asa, Leanna, Emma, Cooper, Colton, and Kyle; his siblings, Curtis (Diane), Barbara (Leland), Dennis (Anita), Donald (Kathy), Ricky (Angela) and Danny (Monica) and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 24th at First Baptist Church of Richland, MS from 5:00 – 8:00 PM and Wednesday, May 25th from 9:00 AM until the 10:00 AM Funeral Service at the church. Burial will follow at Richland Cemetery on Cleary Road.
