Preston Leon Pearson, Jr. left this earth for his heavenly home, Friday, May 17, 2013. Visitation will be at Chancellor Funeral home in Florence on Sunday, May 19th from 5 to 8 PM. Graveside service will be Monday, May 20, at 2 pm at Jesus Name Tabernacle Cemetery . Mr. Pearson was a loving husband, father, and grandfather and never met a stranger. He was a mechanic and was known for his hard work. He was a member of Jesus Name Tabernacle in Florence . Mr. Pearson is survived by his wife, Charlotte of Florence; daughters: Tosha (Michael) Burkes, Deidre (L.J.) Wilson, of Florence ; son, Todd (Kim) Pearson of Ridgeland; five grandchildren: Jacob Burkes, Makenley, Hunter, and Bentley Wilson, and Hannah Pearson; a sister Theresa (John) Steen of Carthage, MS.
