P.W. "Jack" McGowan, 75, Died Saturday, Sept 10, 2011 at St. Dominic's Hospital.\ \ Visitation is scheduled for 5 Until 8 PM Monday at Chancellor Funeral Home, Byram, and Tuesday from 1:00 PM until the 2:00 PM Funeral Service at Northminster Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Lakewood Memorial Park.\ \ A life long resident of Hinds County, Mr. McGowan had lived in Terry for the past 36 years. Mr. McGowan was a superintendent for Harvey Construction. A loving husband, and father, he was a man of faith and family. His recent joys included gardening and his grandchildren.\ \ He is preceded in death by his son and daughter-in-law, Eddie and Vicki McGowan; his parents, George and Myrt McGowan; and his Brothers Billy and Johnny McGowan.\ \ He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Kathryn McGowan; his son, Jackie (Delayne) McGowan of Brandon; Brother A.D. McGowan of Raymond; Sisters Helen Sanford of Thomastown, Bunnie Brown of Terry, Martha Madison of Jackson, and Alice Harrelson of Raymond; and...
