Rachel Ann Breihan

Rachel Ann Breihan retreated into the loving arms of Jesus on Monday, February 5, 2024, at her home in Florence, MS. She was 77 years old. The family will receive friends for visitation from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 7, 2024, and again from 10:00-11:00 a.m. on Thursday February 8, 2024, at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence. The funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday. Interment will follow at Florence City Cemetery in Florence.

Rachel was born on November 23, 1946, to George and Doris Breihan in Florence, MS where she was a lifelong resident. She was a tax revenue analyst for 30 plus years and worked for MS State Tax Commission. Rachel loved doing word search puzzles. She loved her family and spending time with them and special visits with her only living aunt, Pauline.  Rachel enjoyed traveling with her mother, Doris. She also enjoyed getting together and eating lunch with her sister and mostly with her niece Kelli. She will truly be missed.

Rachel is preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her sister, Sue Young (Reggie) of Crystal Springs; niece Kelli Gober (Donnie) of Brandon; nephew, Dusty Young (Dana) of Florence; great nieces, Hannah Grace, Maddie, and Brelynn; and great nephews, Trevor Cole, and Easton.
