Mrs. Rachel Bynum Freeman

Rachel Bynum Freeman, 83, passed away Monday, November 18, 2013 at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland. Visitation will be Wednesday, November 20th from 5-8 PM at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence. Funeral service will be Thursday, November 21st at 11 AM at Star Baptist Church with visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Star Cemetery. Mrs. Freeman has lived in the Florence area for 45 years and was a member of Star Baptist Church. She enjoyed sports and fishing. She loved her Nieces and Nephews and took joy in helping to raise them. Mrs. Freeman is survived by her husband, John “Jack” Freeman of Florence; brothers, Gus (Cecil) Bynum of Star and Wayne (Jane) Bynum of Star; and by her nieces and nephews, Teresa Ann Poling, Martha Jean Murphy, David Bynum, Steve Bynum, and Kimberly McInnis.
