Rachel Huntley

Marie Rachel Mooers (Yaya) Huntley, 88, died peacefully with her family at her side on June 29, 2010 at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland, MS. Visitation will be Thursday, July 1, 2010 from 3 to 4 pm at the Cathedral of St. Peter and Paul in Jackson, MS. The Mass of the Resurrection will immediately follow the visitation. Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery in Haverhill, MA.\ \ On March 8, 1922, Rachel was born and raised in Haverhill, MA. She worked as a tester at Western Electric for 35 years in Andover, MA. In 1998, she moved to Terry, MS to be with her daughter and family.\ \ Her passion was crocheting sweaters, blankets, bibs, and to buy diapers and clothing for Birth Right of Jackson, MS. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She gave generously to the Sisters of St. Joseph, and to St. Jude Hospital.\ \ \ Her husband Charles Huntley, parents Yvonne and Golden Mooers and brother Richard preceded Rachel in death.\ \ Racherl is survived by her daughter, Marie Donovan...
