Ralph Johnson, 84, passed away Thursday, September 20, 2012 at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson. Visitation will be 3pm until the 6pm funeral service Saturday, September 22 at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram. There will also be visitation 3-6pm Sunday, September 23 at Pine Crest Funeral Home and Cemetery in Mobile, AL with graveside services at 10am Monday, September 24 at Pine Crest Cemetery.\ \ A native of Grand Bay, Al, Mr. Johnson had lived in the Jackson area since 1960 and was a WWII Army Air Corp Veteran, having served in Japan. Mr. Johnson was Superintendant at Jackson Packing Company and later worked for Martin's Cleaners and for the last eight years at American Mobility. He was a faithful member of Southside Baptist Church where he served as Sunday School Teacher for many years.\ \ Survivors include his wife Sara Awalt Johnson of Jackson; daughter, Peggy Brown of Madison; son, Steve Johnson (Angela) of Clinton; Step Daughter, Louise Radcliff (Marvin) of Mobile, AL; Step Son,David R.
