Randolph William Brown

Randy Brown, 80, passed away Friday, January 25, 2008 at St. Dominic's Jackson Memorial Hospital. Visitation will be 2-5pm Sunday and 12 until the 2:00P.M. Service, Monday at Chancellor Funeral Home Byram Chapel. Mr. Brown will be buried at Lakewood South with full military honors.\ \ A native of Hazlehurst, He lived most of his life in Jackson. After high school, Mr. Brown entered the Merchant marines and then the US Navy, serving on the USS Klondike and later the SeaBee's. He went on to retire from the National Guard Reserve. Mr. Brown was electrician and member of the IBEW local 480. He retired from Fountain Electric and was a member of the Moose Lodge. He was a longtime member of McDowell Road Baptist Church and presently at Raymond Road Baptist Church.\ \ He is survived by his wife, Dot Brown; his two daughters, Cindy Boyse (Randy) of Dallas, TX, and Cheri Bridges (Bobby) of Byram: his brothers, Ben Brown (Marcelle) of Montgomery, AL, and Wayne Brown (Darlene) of Wake Forest, NC and four grandchildren, Blake and Amanda Boyse, and B.J. and Kyle Bridges.\
