Mr. Randy Nipper

Douglas Randall “Randy” Nipper, 51, passed away Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at his home in Raymond. Visitation will be Friday, February 24th from 5-7 p.m. and Saturday, February 25th from 10:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. Funeral Service at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence. Burial will follow at Countyline Baptist Church Cemetery in Puckett. Randy has lived in the Raymond area for over 20 years moving from Florence where he graduated from Florence High School in 1984. He worked as an electrician with the IBEW Local Union 480. He loved working with his hands and was willing to help anyone in need. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and he enjoyed spending time outdoors. The light of his life were his children. Randy was preceded in death by his father, William Harvey Nipper. He is survived by his mother, Shirley J. Nipper; wife, Danielle Whiteside Nipper of Raymond; son, Douglas Blake Nipper of Brandon; daughter, Lydia Claire Nipper of Brandon; step-daughter, Grace Nicole Evans of Raymond; and brothers, William Michael (Melba) Nipper of Brandon and James Gary (Shannon) Nipper of Brandon. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Blair E. Batson Children’s Hospital.
