Mr. Ray Collins

Earl “Ray” Collins, of Jackson, MS., passed away on Thursday, November 24, 2016. Ray was born in Grenada County, MS. He served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict, worked in construction and was co-owner of Triangle Construction for a number of years. He was very humorous and loved his family Ray was preceded in death by his parents, Guy James Collins and Lula Mae Johnson. He is survived by his wife Geneva Collins; daughters, Alesa Jo Collins of Eclectic, AL and Paula Rae Collins of Jackson; Brothers, James Collins of Fort Myers, FL, John Roy Collins of Grenada, MS, and Billy Wayne Collins of Georgetown, MS; Sisters, Barbara Ann Logan, Mary Joyce McNatt, and Janille Costilow all of Grenada, MS; two grandchildren, Justin Ray Runnels and James Hughlett (Katie) Noble, Jr. Visitation will be from 12- 1 pm Sunday, November 27, 2016, at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram, with funeral service at 1 pm. Interment will follow at Florence Cemetery.
