Mr. Rayford Earl Young

Rayford Earl Young, 72, passed away Monday, November 28, 2016 at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland. Visitation will be Thursday, December 1st from 5-8 PM and Friday, December 2nd from 10:00 AM until the 11:00 AM Funeral Service at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence. Burial will follow at County Line Baptist Church in Puckett. Mr. Young was a native of Crystal Springs, raised in Puckett and lived his final years in Pearl. He had a career in Electrical Maintenance and enjoyed fishing. He was the youngest of 8 children. Mr. Young was preceded in death by his first wife, Betty Lou Atkins Young and his second wife Sandra Young. He is survived by his son, Michael (Robin) Young of Ball Ground, GA; daughter, Tina Gordon of Pearl; step sons, John Boone and Gary Boone both of Pearl; Brothers, Carey Young of Summit; and 6 grandchildren, Jeremy and Kristin Gordon, Madeline, Claire, Maxwell and Oliver Young.
