Raymond Freeman

Raymond Ray Freeman, 82, passed away Sunday, November 25, 2012 at MS Baptist Medical Center in Jackson. Visitation will be 5-8pm Tuesday, November 27, 2012 at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram. Services will be 11am Wednesday, November 28 at Hillcrest Baptist Church with a one hour visitation prior to service time. Interment will follow at Lakewood South Memorial Park.\ \ Mr. Freeman was a longtime member of Hillcrest Baptist Church and a retired machinist from Vickers after 38 years of service. He also served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict.\ \ He is preceded in death by his parents and four siblings. Survivors include his wife of 59 ½ years Evelyn Freeman of Byram; sons Jeffery Freeman (Susan) of Jackson and Keith Freeman (Marilyn ) of Terry; brother Earl Freeman of McComb; sisters Katherine Brown of Bogue Chitto and Virginia Freeman of McComb, Bobbie Alexander of Metarie, LA; 4 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and loving friends.\ \ Memorials may be made to Hillcrest Baptist Church.
