Ms. Rayne Marie Mabus

Rayne Marie Mabus, 49, passed away Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at her home in Byram. Visitation will be 5-7pm Friday, July 13, 2018 at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram. There will also be visitation Saturday, July 14th 11am until the 12:00 noon service at St. John The Evangelist Catholic Church in Crystal Springs. Rayne moved to Byram 10 years ago and was a former Pharmaceutical Technician for Rite Aid. She loved artwork and designing art, giving it to people she loved. Rayne was a lovely, intelligent woman who also enjoyed writing, reading and Shakespeare. She was a parishioner of St. John The Evangelist Catholic Church in Crystal Springs. Survivors include her parents, Jack & Carolyn Daugherty of Byram; sons, Sgt. Joshua Mabus (Alicia) of Chicago, IL, Zachery Mabus and Andrew Mabus, both of AL; brother, Scott Daugherty of Conroe, TX; two grandchildren that she adored, Ryleigh-Jeaux Mabus and Chance Mabus, both of Chicago, IL; and her faithful companion, her dog, “Willow Grace”.
