Reggie Hyde

Reginald "Reggie" Kenneth Hyde, Jr passed away Wednesday November 30,2022, after a long battle with COPD. He was 68 years old.  The family will receive friends for Visitation at 9:00am to 11:00am Wednesday, December 7, 2022 with the funeral service at 11:00am at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram Mississippi.  He will be laid to rest following the service at Crowder Cemetery in Crowder, Mississippi.

Reggie was born September 17, 1954 to Reginald Kenneth and Agatha Dot Hyde in Jackson, Mississippi.  He served in the United States Army where he was a sharpshooter and earned a National Defense Service medal. He spent his career as an electronic maintenance technician. He is known for his sense of humor and being the life of the party.

He is survived by his daughter, Wendy Hassell (Wes); son, Reginald Kenneth Hyde, III "Kenny"(Danica); sister, Deborah Hyde; grandchildren, Wesley G.Hassell, Colton B. Hassell, Caiden Long, Mackenzie Hyde and Gunner Hyde. 

Reggie is up there having a grand party with his many friends and family who have passed over the years including the best dog ever Miller Hyde.
