Retha King

Retha Walker King, 83, passed away Sunday, January 29, 2012 at Copiah Living Center in Crystal Springs. Visitation will be Tuesday, January 31st from 5-8 pm and Wednesday, February 1st from 9am until the 10 am service at Chancellor Funeral Home, Florence, MS. Burial will follow at Terry Cemetery.\ \ She is Preceded in death by her husband, Vernon Lowe; her parents, Earnest E. Walker and Jennie Mae Sandifer Walker; 2 brothers, Ellis Walker and Joseph B. Walker, 2 sisters, Ernestine Patterson and Joretta Moody and one daughter, Katrinka Stotzs.\ \ She is survived by her son, Tommy King, of Ft. Walton Beach, FL; daughters, Latricia Young of Florence, Brenda Majors of Richland, and Lynda Scanlon of Brandon; her brother, Jerry Ned Walker and his wife, Mary of Harrisville; eight grandchildren and ten great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.\
