Rhonda Elaine McDonald

Rhonda Elaine McDonald, Saturday passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family. She was 60. The family will receive friends Tuesday, December 6, 2022, from 5:00 until 8:00 PM and again on Wednesday, December 7, 2022, from Noon until the 1:00 PM Funeral service, all at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence. Interment will follow in Clear Branch Cemetery.

Rhonda was born April30, 1962 in Long Beach, California to Edward and Phyliss Irene Hughey Throgmorton.  She was a resident of Florence since 1987. She worked for Constar Plastics for 25 years and was currently employed with ADS Drainage Systems as a dispatcher. Playing in various pool and bowling leagues was one of Rhonda's favorite hobbies..

Rhonda is preceded in death by her father, Edward Throgmorton. Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Brian (Jennifer) McDonald of Florence; mother, Phyliss Throgmorton of Pearl; brothers, Thomas Throgmorton of Brandon, Edward (Ginger) Throgmorton, Jr. of Naples, Maine; sister, Theresa Hardy of Pearl; 2 grandchildren, Brianna, and Ronin McDonald; life partner, Jerry Kyzar and several nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
