Richard Sharp

Richard "Ricky" Sharp, 52, passed away Thursday, January 24, 2013 at his home in Florence. Visitation will be Monday, January 28, 2013 from 10am until the 11am graveside service in the Garden of Memories. Chancellor Funeral Home is handling the arrangements. \ Mr. Sharp spent most of his life in Rankin County. He was a member of Richland United Methodist Church and worked 32 years with Shell Oil Company. He enjoyed working at the Chuck Wagon through high school. He was certified through the Coast Guard for search and rescue. He was an inventor that loved to rebuild cars. \ Mr. Sharp is survived by his mother, Maggie Turner Sharp of Florence; his brother, David Sharp of Florence; numerous cousins, and a host of friends, including his best friends Mike and Randy.\ In Lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to the Richland United Methodist Church Building Fund.
