Ricky Bullock

Ricky Bullock went to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, August 21, 2024, at his home in Florence, MS. He was 64 years old. The family will receive friends and extended family for visitation from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Saturday, August 24, 2024, and again from 1:00-2:00 p.m. Sunday, August 25, 2024, at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence, MS. The funeral service will follow Sunday’s visitation at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow the service at Mountain Creek Cemetery in Florence.

Ricky was born on November 25, 1959, to John Madison Bullock and Mary Nell Whatley Bullock in Crystal Springs, MS. Ricky was the owner and operator of Southern Glass and Mirror for 30 years. He also owned and operated the Crawfish Shack, which he loved. But his greatest achievement was 44 years of marriage to the love of his life, Mrs. Linda. Ricky was a family man. He loved his family, and they always came first. He was a simple and honest man and had a heart of gold. He was very proud of the simple things in life and what the Lord had blessed him with. Ricky always had a smile on his face. His grandchildren were his world, and he was affectionately known to them as “Paw Paw.” He will truly be missed.

Ricky is preceded in death by his parents, John and Mary Bullock; brothers, George Cameron, Glenn Cameron, James Cameron, Bennie Bullock, and Jerry Bullock; and sisters, Jean Wiggins, Hazel Therrell, Nora Riley and Sue Bullock. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Linda Bullock of Florence; son, Ricky Bullock (Laura) of Florence; grandchildren, Lawson and Ledger Bullock; siblings, Gary Cameron, Mary Mullins, Molly Slade, Linda Foster (Hillary), John Bullock (Mary Evelyn), Bob Bullock (Judy), and Tajuania Duckworth; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.
