Ricky Copeland

Ricky Lee Copeland passed away on Saturday, April 8, 2023.  He was 46 years old. The family will receive friends for visitation from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. on Monday, April 24, 2023, at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence. The funeral service will follow at 12:30 p.m. Burial will follow the service at Glenwood Cemetery in Richland.

Ricky was born on June 30, 1976, in Jonesboro, AR. He lived his life with kindness, compassion and faith in God.  He dedicated himself to serving others and was always ready to lend a helping hand. He was a family man and cherished every moment. His kind heart and generous spirit touched the lives of many leaving behind a legacy that will never be forgotten. He loved to hunt, he loved anything on 4 wheels and spending time with his beautiful granddaughter Ava Grace. Ricky’s memory will be cherished by all that knew and loved him, and he will be greatly missed by all.

Ricky is preceded in death by his brother, James Crowder Jr. He is survived by his mother and father, James and Janet Crowder of Puckett; wife of 17 years, Tina Copeland of Florence; stepsons; David Lents of Florence and Justin Lents (Kayla) of Richland; granddaughters, Ava Grace Lents and Caroline Grubbs; mother-in-law, Joyce Knapp of Florence; and nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
