Rita Fay Roberts

Rita Fay Roberts, beloved daughter, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, passed away on September 7, 2024, Terry, Mississippi. She was born on July 24, 1948, to Emmitt Bowman and Lera Waldon Bowman of Brookhaven, Mississippi. She spent over 15 years in Texas and the past 8 years in Many, LA. She attended Lloyd Star and was a member of Friendship Church. 

Rita's life was a testament to her unwavering and kindness. Throughout her life, she nurtured a profound love for animals and found joy in the simple pleasures of fishing. However, it was her calling to the nursing profession that defined much of her life. Rita deeply cherished the opportunity to help others, making a positive impact on everyone she encountered. Her compassion and dedication to her work as a Nurse Practitioner, highlighted her generous spirit and commitment to caring for those in need.

Rita leaves behind a loving family who will carry her memory forward. She is survived by her daughter, Kimberly Harrelson, and son-in-law, Raymond. Rita was a proud grandmother to Rebecca Danielle Jones and Matthew Davis. Additionally, she was blessed with three great-grandchildren: Annabelle, Matthew, and Destiny, each of whom brought immense joy to her life.
