Mr. Robert Brooks Ainsworth

Robert Brooks Ainsworth, 77, passed away Monday, September 30, 2013 at the VA Hospital in Jackson. Visitation will be Thursday, October 3, 2013 from 12 PM until the 2 PM Funeral service at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence. Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories. Mr. Ainsworth was a native of Florence for 43 years. A retired Boatsman 1st Class from the U.S. Navy, Anisworth served 4 tours of duty in Vietnam and in the Clean up of Korea. He is preceded in death by his daughters, Debra Ainsworth, Carol Burchfield, and Fredrika Hanna. He is survived by his wife, Jean Ainsworth of Florence; son, Robert B. Ainsworth II of North Carolina; daughters, Lori Ann Ainsworth of Idaho and Celia Marie Ainsworth of Florence; step daughters, Teresa Coffman of Wayland, MI and Sandra Jean Hanna of Colorado Springs, CO; brother, John Ainsworth of Louisville, KY; sister, Mary Joan Brooks of Pelahatchie; 14 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
