Robert “Bob” Franklin Coleman, 81 , passed away Monday, November 10, 2014 at his home in Terry. Visitation will be 10am until the 11am funeral service Wednesday, November 12, 2014, at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram. Interment will follow at Rosemont Gardens. Mr. Coleman was born in Jackson, MS to the late James Floyd Coleman and Emma Gladys Russell Coleman. He served 11 years in the U.S. Navy as a Flight Instructor and worked as a Draftsman/Estimator at Belk Construction, Thrasher Door Company & Glen Lewis and Associates. Mr. Coleman lived in Terry for the past 37 years, was a connoisseur of good food and was an active member and deacon of Griffith Memorial Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by siblings Annette Schimpf, Marjorie Coker and James Floyd Coleman, Jr. Survivors include his wife of 45 years Nell Coleman of Terry; daughter Janet Coleman Fruge (Billy) of Long Beach, MS; sister Evelyn Keyes of Clinton; granddaughters Morgan & Katie Fruge.
