Robert "Bob" William Parker

Robert “Bob” William Parker passed away Tuesday, October 11, 2022, at MS Baptist Medical Center in Jackson at the age of 67 years old. The family will receive friends for visitation on Sunday, October 16th from 1:00 until the Funeral Service beginning at 3:00 p.m. all at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence. Burial will follow at Florence City Cemetery.

Bob was born September 7, 1955, in Jackson, MS to the late Sam Barlow and Maude Ellen Parker. He grew up in Florence and lived the last 25 years in Jackson. He worked for the Rankin County School District for over 30 years. Bob enjoyed music, especially Southern Rock and the Blues. He loved his animals and was an avid Mississippi State fan.

Along with his parents, Bob is also preceded in death by his furry companion of 16 years, Bear. He is survived by his daughter, Jennifer Bolivar and her husband, Channing Bolivar and grandchild, Nora Bolivar all of Springville, AL; brother, Randy Parker and his wife, Ginger Parker of Brandon, MS; niece, Ellen Clementson and her husband, Tristan Clementson and great nephew, Lennox Clementson all of Sunshine Coast, Australia; and a host of extended family members and friends.
