Robert Edward Robinson, 74, loving husband, father and grandfather, passed at home on Thursday, January 10, 2019, surrounded by his family after a long courageous battle with cancer. Visitation will be 3pm-5pm Sunday, January13, 2019 at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram and again at10am on Monday. Funeral Services are 11am Monday, January 14, 2019 at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram with interment to follow at Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery in Florence. Mr. Robinson was born December 12, 1944 to the late Robert G. Robinson and Edna Lee Robinson. He was a longtime resident of Raymond and faithful member of Salem Baptist Church in Learned, where he was assistant Sunday School teacher, sang in the choir and served on several committees. He loved the outdoors, enjoying hunting, fishing, golf, riding his tractor, planting fields and gardening. Survivors include his mother, Edna Lee Robinson of Byram; wife Patricia “Tricia” M. Robinson of Raymond; daughters, Robin Ann Morton (Ritchie) of Madison and Stacey Annette Craft (Bryhn) of Kansas; sons, Dewayne Clegg and Justin Clegg both of Raymond; sister, Kitty Kennett of TX; brothers, Bill Robinson of Hopewell, John T. Robinson of Raymond, Charles Robinson of Madison and James Allen Robinson of Byram; 10 grandchildren, Tyler, Anna & Blake Morton, Clay & Carson Craft, D.J. & Tanner Clegg, Blake, Allen & Ally Clegg; extended family, a host of friends and his faithful companions, his dogs, “Lucky”, “Tazz” and “Moose”.
