Mr. Robert Allen Harkins

Robert Allen Harkins, 50, passed away Saturday, November 18, 2017 at his home in Richland. Visitation will be Saturday, November 25th from 11:00 a.m. until the 1:00 p.m. funeral service at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence. Burial will follow at Floral Hills Memory Gardens in Pearl. Robert lived most of his life in the Richland area. He worked as a maintenance technician with Trilogy Communications. A hard worker, he enjoyed working in his shop and working outside. Robert was known for his quick wit and sense of humor. He was a very loyal friend, always willing to lend a helping hand. Robert is survived by his wife, Phyllis Harkins of Richland; daughter, Sheila Ann Harkins of Pearl; stepchildren, Dana (David) Terebessy of Nashville, Amy (James) Stovall of Brandon, and Micheal (Jamie) Neal of Pearl; sisters, Charlotte Smith of Richland and Cindy McCormick of Chapin, SC; and grandchildren, Natalie Nicole Harkins, Dylan Strong, Anna McGuire, Jayden Neal, Tucker Neal, Cadence Neal, and Shelby Neal.
