Mr. Robert Lee Macklin

Mr. Robert Lee Macklin, age 71, born in Peoria, IL currently residing in Florence, MS died Saturday, June 13, 2020 at his residence while surrounded by his loving and caring family. The family will host a memorial visitation at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence, MS on Thursday evening, June 18th from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. Mr. Macklin married the love of his life, Mrs. Carol Neyman, on August 31, 1970. He was a long time professional truck driver, a career he was devoted to and passionate about. Mr. Macklin enjoyed football especially his beloved Chicago Bears and Mississippi State University Bulldogs. Mr. Macklin is survived by his wife of 49 years, Mrs. Carol Neyman Macklin of Florence, MS; his son, Adam Macklin of Florence; two grandchildren, Stefanie and Jeremy Macklin; and three brothers, Steven Allen of Paris, IL, Ishmael Cannon of Peoria, IL, and Terry Allen of Chicago, IL; a sister, Cynthia Allen of Orange Park, FL In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Salvation Army.
