Mr. Robert Hannon Martin Sr.

Robert Hannon Martin, Sr., 80, passed away Tuesday, August 25, 2015 at St. Dominic’s Hospital in Jackson. Visitation will be Thursday, August 27th from 5-7 PM at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence and Friday, August 28th from 9 AM until the 10 AM Funeral Service at First Baptist Church in Richland. Burial will follow at Floral Hills Memory Gardens. Mr. Martin was a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Richland where was an usher. He loved God and enjoyed sports. Mr. Martin is preceded in death by his parents, John and Ruth Martin and his brother, James Martin. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Eleanor Jean Martin of Richland; sons, Robert H. Martin, Jr. (Ginger) of Richland and James E. Martin of Madison; brothers, John (Virginia) Martin of Jackson; sister, Betty Butler of Brandon; grandchildren, Gabe and Will Martin. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Operation Christmas Child Shoebox Ministry at FBC of Richland, MS.
